  1. The short version of the Good Death Inventory (GDI) is a questionnaire consisting of 10 domains and is used by the bereaved family to evaluate the condition of the patient before death. A score of 1 to 7 is assigned according to the answers to each question, and the sum of the scores for each item, 10–70, is used to evaluate the quality of death. A higher score is interpreted as a better quality of death
